Function: How will you respond to God’s call on your life?

This is a great conclusion to the foundational story that points to Jesus and our eternal hope. Today, the people wait for entrance into the promised land. They have not reached their resting place yet, but they still have God’s presence with them. God teaches them the great “Shema” and gives them final blessing promises-choose life.  Jesus offers himself as the way the truth and the life, and brings God’s blessing and presence for His people.
